Through its close association with the parent company BRAINPOOL, BRAINPOOL Artist & Content Services (BACS) is able to draw on comprehensive know-how in the areas of TV production, marketing, the Internet and mobile services and hence has the possibility of developing, and implementing, successful campaigns in collaboration with brand articles and advertising.
To this end, the “Rent a Super Olli” campaign, which was jointly developed and produced by BACS and its partners Snickers and MasterFoods in 2006, received the “Jack Myers Award”. Using the Snickers slogan “If you have lots to do”, Super Olli (presenter Oliver Pocher as the testimonial) is always there when you need a spare set of hands. The campaign was supported by television commercials and print ads. Viewers were able to request the help of Super Olli. Further commercials were developed on the basis of this. The offering was rounded off by an extension and widening of the campaign to include online and mobile services.
The project was hugely successful: not only did unprompted recall of the ads for the candy bar increase considerably, but Snickers was also able to further extend its position as the number 1 candy bar on the popularity scale during the seven-week campaign period.
