He is the No. 1 ladies’ man in Germany. He is the man who has deciphered the secret language of women for his hairy fellows. And he is the one who had a million-bestseller with the Langenscheidt guidebook ""Deutsch-Frau / Frau-Deutsch" [German-Woman / Woman-German]: Mario Barth.
He is the shooting star of the German comedy scene, has been awarded the Comedy Prize for the best live comedy several times – and has made both men and women happy in more than 500 performances.
In his approximately two-hour solo programme "Männer sind Schweine, Frauen aber auch!" [Men are pigs, but so are women!”] Barth illuminates the everyday battle of the sexes with charm and chauvinism. Why do women always have cold feet for example? Why can’t they ever get rid of anything – except, their husbands? And why do men always act like they are dying when they only have a cold? Only one man has the right answers to these pressing questions: Mario Barth.
On 19 and 26 November 2005 at 10:15 pm, RTL presented the stage show by Mario Barth. For the native Berliner, this was a home match: In Tempodrom in the centre of Berlin, the stand-up comedian pulled out all the stops in front of an enthusiastic audience of 3,000.
The DVD of the stage recording is available in stores.
