Der Deutsche Comedypreis
The great celebration of German television humour: The best comedy performances of the past year are recognised with the annual Deutscher Comedy Preis (German Comedy Award) at a glamorous and fun gala event. All the big names in Germany’s comedy scene meet at the Cologne Coloneum for this event. The television network RTL is presenting the "Deutscher Comedy Preis" (“German Comedy Award”) for the seventh time.
The ceremony promises to deliver a number of awards and many, many laughs – after all, the top stars of German comedy will be at their most comical, funny and crazy.
Once again, the crème de la crème of German television humour gathered at the Cologne Coloneum for the "Deutscher Comedy Preis 2007" ("German Comedy Award 2007"). The elegant TV gala event, aired on RTL on Friday (26 October, 9:15 p.m.), was hosted for the sixth time by Atze Schröder. A total of 11 awards were given out.
The award for Best Comedienne went to Gaby Köster. Best Comedian was once again Hape Kerkeling, although he was unabale to accept his award in person. The Best Actress in a Comedy Series award was presented to Anke Engelke. For the third time, Christoph Maria Herbst received the Best Actor award. This year, the Honorary Award went to Vicco von Bülow, alias Loriot.
