After their tremendous success with “Fröhliche Weihnachten” (Happy Christmas), the renowned masters of German television entertainment, Wolfgang & Anneliese Funzfichler (alias Bastian Pastewka and Anke Engelke) are at it again. On Friday, May 13, 2011 at 8:15 p.m., they presented the best and most popular German comedians for the first time in SAT.1 “Fröhlicher Frühling” – a sensational springtime show full of parodies of the world of German folk music.

Once again, the dream team of German comedy demonstrated their ability to change faces. Anke Engelke and Bastian Pastewka are not only the presenters and married couple Wolfgang & Anneliese – they will also be slipping into numerous additional roles including greats such as Andrea Berg, Semino Rossi, the Flippers and Tina Turner. They will also become mushroom expert Dr. Verena Bach-Düssel and Ottmar Zittlau.
And as fitting for a true Spring celebration, Wolfgang & Anneliese Funzfichler also welcomed international Megastars to their show: the “fastest magician in the world” Hans Klok and the one and only David – “We love the Hoff” – Hasselhoff up close and in person!
