If you need a third man for cards or a second man for your bed? Do you need a babysitter, a pizza delivery boy or somebody who brings the old heater up from the basement? Oliver Pocher would love to help!

Whether a temp hotel bellhop, a substitute punk begging for money, a plumber, firefighter or even a dog, from earnest to inane and crazy, the host takes on any job the viewers have in mind.

Each week, the host and comedian is at his viewers’ beck and call in “rent a Pocher”. Anybody can rent the multitalented man – free of charge, needless to say. He also rescues the studio audience from tricky situations. Wanna dump your partner? A mission for Olli. He just needs to dial the number.

Even his celebrity guests use him for their own purposes: whether as a tour manager for Scooter, furniture mover for Hugo Egon Balder or dance partner for Thomas Herrmanns, no task is too dirty for Oliver.

Immodestly, Oliver Pocher – as a born and raised resident of Hanover – sees himself as a peer of another great son of the city: “I’m actually just like Gerhard Schröder: I’m actually capable of nothing, but think there is nothing I can’t do!”
