Viewers against host – as never seen before: In "Schlag den Raab", one candidate can challenge Stefan Raab to a duel and win a breathtaking sum of cash in the process. The minimum prize is € 500.000!! If the presenter wins, the money is placed in a jackpot, if his challenger wins, he or she takes the cash home with them. This is how the whole prize money on "Schlag den Raab" totals a staggering € 2,5 million in the next edition.

In the spectacular Saturday night show, duels in various disciplines – including dexterity, sports, knowledge, daring and luck – decide between victory and defeat.

"Beating Raab" is only possible for candidates who are smart and sporty. That even becomes apparent in the name of the games: Among "Where is what located?", "Note", "Smell" and "Estimation" the candidates also have to play "Tug of war", "Autoball", "Hurdles" and "Rock climbing".

The show kicks off with the audience being presented with five applicants who all fulfill both criteria. The viewers at home then choose the candidate to challenge the presenter by means of televoting – with this candidate being offered the chance of a lifetime: they can become instantaneously rich and famous.
