TV total Wok World Championship

One of the most successful TV total events and the original celebrity contest is the TV total Wok World Championship. What started as a simple Asian cooking utensil on a slushy bobsleigh run has now become a must-see highlight of the winter sports season. Six times to date, a total of 50 celebrity Wok racers have competed against each other to crown the Wok World Champion in the "Single-man" and "Four-man" categories, with stars including ski jumper Dieter Thoma, comedian Mario Barth, presenter Charlotte Engelhardt and Stefan Raab’s eternal rival Joey Kelly.

Live reports directly from the run, gripping interviews with the Wok racers and a look behind the scenes are provided by Sonya Kraus, Oliver Pocher, Kai Pflaume, Matthias Opdenhövel and Oliver Welke.

And not only the approximately 10,000 spectators at the run and the celebs themselves are thrilled by this spectacular winter sports discipline. Among the 14-49-year-olds, the Wok World Championship achieves a market share of between 20.7 and 33.7 percent*.

The 10th Wok World Championship will be broadcastet March 10th, 2012 at 8pm on ProSieben.
