Prof. Dr. Andreas Scheuermann (born in 1957) has been the CEO of BRAINPOOL TV GmbH since January 1, 2007 and is responsible for the "Licensing and Marketing, Financial Controlling and Legal and Business Affairs" divisions.

After studying law and completing his PhD at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Prof. Dr. Andreas Scheuermann launched his career working in the legal department at Bavaria Film GmbH. Later, he moved to BMG Ariola München GmbH as the Assistant to the Management, where he was appointed Deputy CEO in 1992.

One year later, Prof. Dr. Andreas Scheuermann became a partner in the law firm Schramm & Scheuermann, for which he was active for eight years. In 2001, he founded the law firm Scheuermann Westerhoff Strittmatter, which is still operating successfully. Furthermore, his past activities have also included the position of the CEO of Love Parade Berlin GmbH (1996-2001), he has been a Member of the Supervisory Board of Magix AG in Berlin (2001-2003) and the Deputy Chairman of the VIVA Media AG Supervisory Board in Cologne (2003-2004). Between 1999 and 2003, Prof. Dr. Andreas Scheuermann was the Chairman of the BRAINPOOL TV AG Supervisory Board. Since 2005, he has also been a lecturer at the Rheinland Polytechnic in Cologne. Prof. Dr. Andreas Scheuermann is member of the "Alliance of German Producers - Film and Television" Board.

Since January 2007, Prof. Dr. Andreas Scheuermann has been CEO of BRAINPOOL TV GmbH alongside Jörg Grabosch, Ralf Günther and Andreas Viek.
