"Ladykracher" (Lady Cracker) nominated for the Adolf Grimme Award 2002!

Anke Engelke is nominated for the Grimme Award 2002 for her comedy sketch show "Ladykracher" in the "Fiction and Entertainment" category. "Ladykracher" has been on air since January 11, 2002, every Friday at 10:15 p.m. on Sat.1, currently with a staggering 3 million viewers and a market share of 20% in the advertising-relevant 14-49-year-old target group.

A total of 556 television programs were proposed for the Grimme Award, of which 52 were finally nominated. And in March, the decision will be made as to who will receive the Adolf Grimme Institute’s "Television Oscar".

The focal point of the comedy sketch show "Ladykracher" is Anke Engelke. From the subordinated wallflower through to the hip and trendy H&M chick: with her unparalleled wit, Anke Engelke excels in each and every role. The situations she finds herself in are very familiar to us all, but they have a tendency to end in the most bizarre way. The comedy sketch show is produced by her own production company, Ladykracher TV, in cooperation with BRAINPOOL.

The presentation of the Grimme Award will take place on March 22, 2002 in the grand Circus Roncalli tent in Marl.

Anke Engelke was also awarded the "Grimme Special Award" in 1999
