“Ladyland”, “Pastewka” and Christoph Maria Herbst receive awards!”
Cologne. Germany’s comedy elite all met up again at the “German Comedy Awards 2006” ceremony. Visitors eagerly awaited this year’s winners of the coveted comedy awards. And it was to be a night of celebrations for BRAINPOOL: winning a hat-trick of awards!
A thrilled Anke Engelke accepted the award in the “Best Comedy” category. She starred in the Sat.1 production “Ladyland”, pipping “Arme Millionäre” (Poor Millionaires – RTL) and the “ProSieben Märchenstunde” (ProbSieben Fairytale Hour) at the post. Crowned “Best Actor” was – repeating his performance in 2005 – Christoph Maria Herbst: receiving the award for his role as Bernd Stromberg in “Stromberg” (ProSieben). Nominations in this category included Sky Du Mont and Bastian Pastewka, who was able to console himself after receiving the comedy award for “Pastewka” in the “Best Comedy Series” group.
