Beautiful! SEEED opens Stefan Raab's "Bundesvision Song Contest" on ProSieben
The "Bundesvision Song Contest 2012" is starting with a real bang: The Berlin-based mega band SEEED will be the unrivalled opening act for the song contest of the Federal States in its home city on Friday, September 28, 2012. ProSieben is broadcasting live from 8.15 p.m.
SEEED is the first opening act in the history of the song contest. In the Max-Schmeling Hall, the band will present its new songs "Beautiful" and "Augenbling" as an exclusive TV premiere. The band from Berlin has a wealth of experience with the "Bundesvision Song Contest": In 2006, they won the contest with "Ding". SEEED member Peter Fox repeated the class act again solo in 2009 with "Schwarz zu blau".
In the "Bundesvision Song Contest", well-known stars, newcomers and insider's tips battle for audience votes and the German Federal musical crown. "The Voice of Germany" coach Xavier Naidoo and Rapper Kool Savas are representing Baden-Württemberg with their project Xavas. Host and defending champion Berlin is placing its hopes this year on rapper B-Tight. DER KÖNIG TANZT will take the stage for Hamburg and is the solo project of Fettes Brot rapper König Boris. Saarland is sending the hip hop group Die Orsons into the competition, who have pulled rap shooting star Cro on-board. His hit "Easy" made it to Number 2 in the German single charts. North Rhine-Westphalia is hoping for votes for LUXUSLÄRM. Bavaria is represented by FIVA & DAS PHANTOM ORCHESTER and a "Buvisoco" veteran. Rüde Linhof, member of Sportfreunde Stiller, who took part in the competition in 2008, plays in Phantom Orchester.
Each Federal State sends a representative to the contest, but at least 50 percent of the entry must be sung in German. In 2011, Tim Bendzko won the "Bundesvision Song Contest" for Berlin with his entry "Wenn Worte meine Sprache wären", bringing the competition to the German capital for the third time. Stefan Raab moderates the "Bundesvision Song Contest 2012" together with Sandra Rieß.
