Dream launch for "elton.tv"

"elton.tv” was launched with a 25.5% market share in the advertising-relevant target group. 1.78 million viewers accompanied Germany’s best-known show trainee on December 6 into the remotest corners and wittiest sites of the Internet.

And the viewer ratings for the first episode of "elton.tv" have nothing to be ashamed of:
a total of 1.78 million viewers, with a market share of 14.1%. In the advertising-relevant target group of the 14-49-year-olds, a stunning 1.52 million watched the show, which corresponds to a market share of 25.5%.

In "elton.tv", Stefan Raab’s show trainee researches the depths of the World-Wide Web and finds treasures that nobody else can. And because sitting at the computer alone is only half as much fun, Elton will be host to computer freaks, "T-Online users", as well as stars and celebrities – simply everybody who likes surfing the World-Wide Web. Together, they will test the latest video games, rave at spectacular homepages or simply order a pizza online in Australia. The Web knows no limits – and certainly not on "elton.tv". Call center staff and customer services will learn to love Elton and his telephone – or should we say "hate"?! And woe betide everyone, should Germany’s most famous trainee ever have cause to leave the studio...
