Stefan Raab and Mirco Nontschew awarded the "Rose d’Or de Montreux"

Cologne, May 1, 2001. The Cologne-based production company BRAINPOOL has been awarded prizes for two TV formats at the "Rose d´Or de Montreux", Europe´s most important television awards ceremony. Stefan Raab´s ProSieben show "TV total", produced by BRAINPOOL for RAAB TV, received the Bronze Award in the "Variety" category. Mirco Nontschew´s new sketch comedy show "Mircomania", a co-production between ZEITSPRUNG and BRAINPOOL and scheduled for broadcast in August 2001 on Sat.1, was awarded the "Silver Rose" in the "Comedy" category.
Hence, BRAINPOOL is the very first producer in the history of this TV Festival to be awarded two prizes in one year.

The "Rose d’Or de Montreux" is one of the most internationally renowned television awards in the entertainment industry. The Festival was staged for the 41st time this year.
