“Witzig ist witzig”(Witty is Witty) – The Comedy Documentary for ‘Red Nose Day’
Exclusively for the launch of "Red Nose Day", Germany’s top comedians are opening their poison cabinets – to be broadcast on March 10, 2003 at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben
"Do something crazy and collect money!" With this motto, the entire nation is requested to get involved in the first German "Red Nose Day". In addition to countless other stars, Stefan Raab, Bully, Oliver Kalkofe, Ingolf Lück, Helge Schneider, Thomas Hermanns, Ingo Appelt, to name but a few, all show the way: the comedy stars will be opening their poison cabinets on March 10 at 8:15 p.m. – all for a good cause. With "Witzig ist witzig", ProSieben shows what the comedy elite actually never wanted to experience again – failed pilots, spoiled shows, total breakdowns or never-ending laughing fits. The best thing: the "affected" comment their "accidents" in a highly personal manner and have to face the full-frontal comments of their colleagues.
A telephone competition on the occasion of Germany’s crazy Comedy Charity Gala – "Red Nose Day" – will accompany the show. By calling, viewer can donate money to Kinder in Not (Children in Need). The winner and partner will then be invited to Cologne for "Red Nose Day" on March 14, will go to the grand parties and meet their comedy heroes. The other winners will receive T-shirts signed by the stars.
