"Wok World Cup 2004 – the Revenge"
Stefan Raab vs. Georg Hackl – the Battle of the Titans! On March 4, 2004, the very first World Champion in the One-man Wok, Stefan Raab, will once again be presenting the most spectacular event of the winter at 8:15 p.m.: "Wok World Cup 2004 – the Revenge", live on ProSieben. This time, the celebrities will be battling it out on the Olympic Bobsleigh track in Innsbruck/Tyrol, pulling out all the stops to win the coveted World Champion’s title.
At the "1st Official Wok World Cup" in Winterberg, Hochsauerland, up to 5.93 million viewers (target group 14-49 year-olds/on average 29.7 percent) tuned into to watch Stefan Raab outclass all his competitors in the One-man Wok event. Now the time has come for revenge. On March 4, 2004 at 8:15 p.m., Stefan Raab presents live: "Wok World Cup 2004 – the Revenge"! This time, the spectacle will be taking place on the Olympic Bobsleigh track in Innsbruck/Tyrol. Celebrity competitors include multiple Bobsleigh World Champion Georg Hackl, Bernhard Hoëcker, Axel Stein, Susi Erdmann, Silke Kraushaar, Sylke Otto, to name but a few. Stefan’s motto applies to all: "There is only one sin: cowardice!"
The sports equipment for the "Wok World Cup – the Revenge" event has been upgraded by an engineer from the German Aerospace Center. In his spare time, the "TV total" fan developed a wok that is virtually "undentable". Background: a standard wok develops dents even after a single ride, dents that are detrimental to its riding properties. Therefore, things will be much faster this time than in Winterberg!
Needless to say, the "Wok World Cup 2004 – The Revenge" event will be hosted by none other than Kai Pflaume, with support from Sonya Kraus and Oliver Pocher. Furthermore, the commentary will be accompanied by professional observations from Ron Ringguth, the experienced bobsleigh expert.
And the suitable musical backdrop for "Wok World Cup – the Revenge" will be provided by Thomas Anders and, of course, Max, the fresh winner of "SSDSGPS – a Song for Istanbul".
