After eleven comes Anke
On Monday, May 17 at 11:15 p.m., Sat.1 is launching the probably most discussed show of the year: "Anke Late Night". For the first time ever, the multiple award-winning power woman will be uniting all her talents in a single show, four times a week. With her extensive show experience, her never-ending urge to chat, her wit and understanding and with countless unconventional events, Anke Engelke will be launching a veritable fireworks of ideas into the new German late night skies. In the first show next Monday, she will be welcoming superstar Sting and comedian Bastian Pastewka as guests.

The Grimme, Television and Comedy Award winner, who has received the Golden Camera, the Bambi and the Austrian TV Award, Romy, means business and is the world’s first woman to host a late-night show.
"Anke Late Night" is the television show with the articulate and polyglot presenter who loves to be loud and to sing - and occasionally shake her leg. A clever woman with many interests and just a many varied talents, Anke guides us through an hour of late-evening entertainment. And she loves doing this without giving two hoots about what many people regard as politically correct.
And as an interviewer, Anke is unabashed, but never impolite. As an experienced reporter, she loves leaving the confines of the studio and taking advantage of acting skills by slipping into other women’s roles at the drop of a hat.
