Double Award: Rose d'Or and Press Award for "Pastewka"
At the world's largest international TV festival, Rose d'Or 2006 in Lucerne, the BRAINPOOL comedy series "Pastewka" (Sat.1) received two awards. The leading male Bastian Pastewka received the Rose d'Or as "best actor in a sitcom". The comedy "Pastewka" also received the press prize at the festival. A jury consisting of media journalists chose "Pastewka" as the most innovative programme. "Pastewka" is a production of Minestrone TV and BRAINPOOL for Sat.1.
In this year's competition in Lucerne, following a pre-selection from among a total of 335 programmes submitted, 105 entertainment formats were finally nominated in the eight main categories of the Rose d'Or. These also included the BRAINPOOL production "Stars in Danger" / "Das große TV total Turmspringen" (Pro7), which was nominated in the "Variety" category.
