Going off with a bang! The best "TV total Stock Car Crash Challenge" since 2009

The "TV total Stock Car Crash Challenge" ramps it up: The biggest stock car race in Europe achieves a 17.8 percent market share with the ad-relevant audience on Saturday evening on ProSieben. This is the best value since 2009. ProSieben records a very good daily market share of 14.8 percent on Saturday with Stefan Raab's major crash event.

This time around, stock car race initiator Stefan Raab "only" manages to take the title in the newest event category, the caravan destruction in the Caravan Crash Cup. The surprise of the evening is delivered by stock car newcomer Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht: despite the lack of a driver's license, the 20-year-old actor and singer drove to victory in front an audience of over 50,000 in the VELTINS Arena auf Schalke in the "small" class of over of 1,500 cm³. Delighted with his achievement, he says after the show: "This is so cool. Driving is addictive."

The races:

An Irish victory at the weekend after all
His football colleagues may have experienced a bitter hammering on Friday evening, but Joey Kelly gives Ireland cause for celebration after all. Kelly confidently defends his title from the previous year in the premier class of over 3,000 cm³. Even DTM driver Timo Scheider is unable to keep up with the speedy Irishman. Thore Schölermann is delighted with his bronze for his "The Voice of Germany" team.

Strong women and a winner with no license to drive
An unusual picture in the class of over 1,500 cm³: The most successful stock car driver of all previous challenges, actor Axel Stein, has to drop out of the race early with engine failure and leaves victory to Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, who does not own a driver's license. Power-women Charlotte Roche and Lucy Diakovska take the places next to Ochsenknecht.

The professional takes the title
In the class of over 1,900 cm³, Formula One driver Adrian Sutil shows his stuff behind the wheel and takes victory for the "TV total" team. Actor Peter Lohmeyer and chef Mario Kotaska finish behind him.

Victory for Stefan Raab after all
Only sixth place in the premier class - it looks like a bad day for Stefan Raab. However, the ProSieben entertainer then unfolds his full destructive force, leaves nothing standing in the Caravan Crash Cup and manages to achieve the sought-after title in the special "Caravan Destruction" category.

First tie in the history of the team competition
DTM or Formula One is the question at the end of the team category Rodeo, in which all vehicles still able to drive hit the road and crash into each other until they all come to a standstill. The answer is: DTM and Formula 1. Adrian Sutil and Timo Scheider knock all competitors out of the race, but in the end they have a tough time against each other. Their crash race cars simply don't want to give in. The decision of race management: a tie. Teams "TV total" and "ebay Motors" share the team victory.
