Stars in Danger: "The High Dive" remains on track for international success – format sold to Russia

The well known BRAINPOOL format known internationally as "Stars In Danger: The High Dive" continues to enjoy great popularity on the global TV market. With the sale of the format to Russia, nine countries have now purchased the format rights for the idea of a watersport competition with celebrities. "The High Dive" has been an absolute hit with audiences in Spain, Sweden and Canada, where the average prime time quota was sometimes more than doubled. Mostly marketed internationally as a several-part show, the sports event was also successful in the USA, Norway and Italy. In April, Turkey and China will also begin broadcasting.

Since 2004, celebrities in Germany have been leaping from the diving board to compete for the best score from official judges in "TV Total High Dive". The prime time show regularly achieves outstanding quotas of an average of over 20 percent. The media group Banijay markets the format internationally as "The High Dive" under the umbrella brand "Stars in Danger", which also includes well-known sporting events such as the "Stock Car Crash Challenge" and the "Wok World Championship".
