The Saturday night Number 1: Stefan Raab beats TV rivals and increases jackpot in "Schlag den Raab" to 3.5 million euros
Unbeatable: Stefan Raab wins his ProSieben show "Schlag den Raab" [Beat Raab] for the sixth time in a row. The jackpot increases to the record sum of 3.5 million euros for the first time ever. The 45-year-old carpenter Mario from Hilden was unable to beat Raab, just like his TV rivals: "Schlag den Raab" in the Saturday night Number 1. 21.8 percent of 14 to 49-year-old viewers witness Raab's record-breaking victory. With 15.2 percent, ProSieben is top of the day market in the advertising-relevant target group. A total of 3.32 million viewers watch "Schlag den Raab" on Saturday night.
Whether at the sugar cube catapult, in the digger duel or the electric scooter race - at 56 minutes past midnight one thing is clear: Stefan Raab is a cut above Mario. "It was just never quite enough," says the American football player after the show, analyzing his performance. "But I had a great life before the show and that won't be any different now." Stefan Raab already has his sights set on the next record: "I have nothing against moving into the New Year with four million euros." Raab will take up the challenge on December 15 on ProSieben.
