Pastewka

The comedy series “Pastewka” tells stories from the everyday life of comedian Bastian Pastewka. With his award-winning series “Pastewka” in SAT.1, he provides “private” insight into his turbulent life: Things are still as funny and exciting in his circle of friends and family as they are in his job as actor and comedian. “To those who ask themselves: ‘Did all that really happen to him?’ I would like to respond: ‘No, not everything! Only the embarrassing bits!!’”, says Bastian Pastewka about his comedy series. For his “embarrassing moments in life”, “Pastewka” was awarded with the German Television Prize (2006), two “Rose D’Or” (2006) and three times the “German Comedy Prize” (2006, 2010 and 2013).

As well as Bastian Pastewka and Sonsee Neu, the following cast members are back in the new episodes: Matthias Matschke as brother Hagen, Cristina do Rego as niece Kim, Bettina Lamprecht as constant opponent Svenja Bruck, Sabine Vitua as stressed agent Regine and Dietrich Hollinderbäumer as father Volker.

Seven seasons of the series were shown in SAT.1, Amazon Prime Video now brings Pastewka back: The award-winning comedies series with the brandnew, eighth season goes to the beginning of 2018 exclusive to Germany's most popular video streaming service. All previous seasons are already available for Prime customers in Germany and Austria for unlimited streaming.

The eighth season of Pastewka is an Amazon original, produced by BRAINPOOL Pictures on behalf of Minestrone TV.
