Unser Song 2017
Five young singers, a jury with Lena, Tim Bendzko and Florian Silbereisen, songs specially written for the Eurovision Song Contest, Germany's most popular presenter, a big live band directed by Wolfgang Dalheimer ("Heavy Tones"), The audience as decision maker, a "European mood barometer": these were the ingredients for "Eurovision Song Contest - Our Song 2017", the German ESC preliminary decision-show.
The route from Levina to the final in Kiev was followed by a crowd of 4.01 million spectators. On average, 3.14 million viewers watched the live show "Eurovision Song Contest - Our Song 2017" on Thursday evening, 9 February, which Barbara Schöneberger moderated. The market share of the three-hour ESC preliminary decision was 10.8 percent, with the 14- to 49-year-old being 10.3 percent.
In the live show "Eurovision Song Contest - Our Song 2017" a total of 797,547 votes were cast by telephone, SMS and app. The participation in the third round was the strongest, in which the TV spectators were able to decide which performers and which songs to enter the final - here it was 278,697 votes. In the first round, 204,249 were handed out, in the second 168,909 in the final, 145,692.
"Perfect Life" and "Wildfire": These were the two songs that the contestants presented in different arrangements in "Eurovision Song Contest - Our Song 2017". In the German preliminary decision on Thursday, February 9th, at 8:15 pm in DasErste, Yosefin Buohler, Axel Maximilian Feige, Felicia Lu Kürbiss, Isabella "Levina" Lueen and Helene Nissen performed their songs. At the end of the three-hour show, the audience was able to choose who will represent Germany at the ESC in Kiev with which song version.
Isabella "Levina" Lueen won with the song "Perfect Life", written by Lindy Robbins, Dave Bassett and Lindsey Ray. 69 percent of the audience's votes in the final accounted for this ESC song.
