Max Mutzke was born on May 21, 1981, in Waldshut-Tiengen, Germany.

Passion and talent cannot really be learned - one either has the necessary tools of the entertainment trade or not. German exceptional talent Max Mutzke proves impressively time and again that he has the abundant gift of enchanting his audience.

19.2.2014 was the tenth anniversary of the day on which Max Mutzke won the first talent search "SSDSGPS" held by Stefan Raab and TV Total. Ten years and six albums later, Max has established himself as one of the best singers in the German music industry, even winning the Jazz Platinum Award for his album "Durch Einander" (2012). He enjoys the respect of the journalists as well as that of a wide-ranging audience and the local music scene.

Characteristic for Mutzke's exemplary career is his continuous artistic further development with remarkable chart positions. In 2004, Max Mutzke won the renowned "SSDSGPS" show, was awarded the 1Live crown for the best single ("Can’t wait until tonight") and came eighth in the Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul. In 2005, he received the "Golden Tuning Fork" for best soloist and demonstrated his musical ability in numerous performances in Stefan Raab's "TV Total", "TV Total Jazz Night" and "Schlag den Raab" as well as proving his worth as a fearless driver in the "TV Total Stock Car Crash Challenge".
